St. Vincent de Paul Society

The St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVDP) is an international, non-profit, Catholic lay organization that provides assistance for those in need and living in poverty.  Our parish St. Vincent de Paul Society is able to help people from the local Illinois community. If you need assistance, you must call the Parish Office to set up an appointment with an SVDP representative.  Candidates must then meet with the SVDP representative to evaluate their requested needs.  Once an evaluation has been completed, the candidates' request will be processed.

During Pope Francis' visit the USA, he reached Christians and non-Christians alike with his message of helping others.  The St. Vincent de Paul Society has been putting these words into practice for 170 years.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society is always in need of new members.  Also please consider donating time or treasure to this very worthy cause.  Donations can be sent to SVDP through the Parish Office, put in the collection during Mass, or deposited in the SVDP drop-boxes at the back of Immaculate Conception and St. Patrick Churches.

If you would like to assist in helping the poor through the St. Vincent de Paul Society, or are in need of assistance from SVDP, please contact the Parish Office (815-589-3542).
